Sevea loved her figurine doll to play with and the two swimsuits she got. Unfortunately the Easter bunny had to return them because they didn’t fit quite right. But she’s excited to find a new one. Cohen loved the Cars pajamas and the ambulance he got. The Easter bunny got his favorites for sure.
Cohen loved his first experience coloring eggs. Having a big sister really comes in handy to have Cohen try new things. We didn’t attempt coloring eggs with Sevea at this age so it is fun to see Cohen enjoying activities at this age. Guess we should have done it with Sevea. But she makes up for it now.
We had a sparkle egg dying kit this year. Sevea really enjoyed adding the extra special detail of gluing the sparkles on the eggs. She had a little more patience this year when we tried to explain to her the longer you leave the egg in the color the deeper the color would be. We also tried to show her she could dip them in more than one color. But for the most part she just wanted to get them all colored. Maybe next year she’ll spend even more time on them.
After brunch that I wouldn’t spend the time making again, the kids took naps while the Easter bunny hid the Easter eggs. We had a small egg hunt with the daycare kids so this was Cohen’s second time hunting for eggs. Sevea was the best big sister helping him find eggs and not just thinking about how many she could find herself. We eventually had to tell her she didn’t need to help him anymore and go find them herself. It was big success and again my favorite part of the Easter holiday.
Hope you had a very happy and blessed Easter! We certainly did.
