Another month down and 1 away until we reach the half way point of the first year. It continues to go by quickly and we’re trying to make sure we soak in as much of little miss Brynna as we can. This month brought good reminders that Brynna is only getting older. Right before Christmas Brynna showed off her big girl skills of rolling over from her back to her belly. The first two days she gave us just a teaser by rolling over once or twice a day then after that she was rolling over non-stop but forgetting how to roll back over. She still forgets sometimes and gets mad but we’ve had times where she seems to be rolling all over the floor. She’s getting stronger and stronger by the day.
We’ve also entered into the real food stage. Brynna had her first taste of oatmeal this month. To say she was a fan would be a lie. She did however make the most adorable ewww faces ever. We’ve kept offering it and she seems to be more okay with it each time. I think she is more unsure about eating in general than the flavor of the oatmeal. She is a big fan of the spoon and likes to play with it when we’re done.
Otherwise things this month have been pretty much the same. We’ve had two ear infections now that made nighttime sleeping less pleasant. Not to mention another tooth is coming through on the bottom which probably contributes to worse nights. Thankfully though she has good days which makes us almost forget all about the night before…almost! Although we may want to forget all about sleepless nights we definitely look forward to everything this next month and more brings. How can you not when you get to share it with this little cutie?!?!
