Animals

At the end of May we had friends from Marshall up, the Reaves family. They are big fans of going to the zoo and since we hadn’t been in quite a long time (I think before Cohen was born) we thought it was a great idea. The kids loved seeing all the animals but were quick to move on from one exhibit to the next.

The one area where we spent the most amount of time in was with the farm animals. It may have been because you could get much closer to the animals. I can’t blame the kids for enjoying touching the animals versus just looking at them from a distance.

At first I thought Cohen and Brynna would keep their distance from the animals. But once we let them in to where you could feed the goats and get up close and personal with them, all bets were off. Both of them enjoyed petting the goats. Brynna however though really loved getting up close and personal with many of the baby goats. She loved them so much she kept trying to give them kisses. She wasn’t real successful but that didn’t keep her from trying. Maybe she thought it would turn them into a prince?

It was a fun day for all. Sevea was along as well she was just too busy hanging out being cool with Lauren (she’s a month older than her) that I didn’t get any pictures of her.

  1. Brynna was able to plant a big smooch on one unsuspecting goat. She was too quick for me to get a picture.
