Corn Maze 2015

Our corn maze trip was a little later this year. But it was worth the wait because we snuck it in on probably the last really warm days of the year. The weather was in the 80s and so different to be in shorts the second weekend of October. The weather definitely made up for the fact that we had to drag along two other kids. The Zimmer boys joined us while their parents went on their family annual shopping adventure. We spend so much time with them that it didn’t add a ton more work but definitely meant less photo taking and more hands on time for me. Which in a way isn’t so bad because really it is about the moments you create versus the pictures you take to remember them. So with that said here are the few pictures we did manage to take.

Getting three kids to look at the camera and smile is difficult. Getting 5 kids is near impossible…or at least it was while waiting for the magician to start.

Despite the lack of pictures we had a great time with all the usual attractions. We spent time on the jumping pillows, in the corn pit, went down the big slide again this year, of course treated ourselves to some mini donuts and roasted corn, watched the magician, looked at all the animals and climbed the big tires. Not much changes from year to year but all the kids still really enjoy it so we’ll continue making our way there each year until that changes. Plus there is something nostalgic about finding corn in pants and random places for the next couple days.

Edited to add some pictures that Troy captured on his phone.
