We’re a family of 5!
This first week adjusting to our new normal has been a good one. We were in the hospital until Saturday morning so those first few days it was hard to truly get a feel of what it meant to have a third child. However when we picked up the kids from the Zimmer household we were hit with the reality. It was right around lunch time and Cohen was hungry, tired, and crabby. Brynna wanted to be fed. And Sevea was being the overly helpful big sister that sometimes makes things harder than easier. It was a true wakeup call from the easy time in the hospital. Over the next couple days the calm settled in and Brynna was now a member of the family we couldn’t imagine living without. There have been several times that all of us will be sitting together on the couch and Troy will look at me and we both comment on how we can’t believe they are all ours. We feel VERY blessed and fortunate to have this time with them. My heart couldn’t be more full!
