Big sister to the rescue

Parents always hope that their first born will take to the second born. Fears of jealously are normal. Thankfully we have had an easy transition with adding Cohen into our family. Sevea has been great to her brother. She is the best little helper. She immediately tells us when Cohen is crying. When he cries she insists that we give him his nuk. Thankfully she is willing to help us when it comes to giving him his nuk. She does a pretty good job and even figured out to put her finger in the middle of the nuk to help get him to take it. She also enjoys getting to hold him with the help of the boppy pillow. She enjoys talking to him and giving him kisses and hugs. She does really well at waiting for our help. Overall she is better than we could have hoped for. A definite plus when it comes to adding to our family.

 

She must really enjoy this big sister gig because she is already asking for a SISTER!!! She totally gets that Cohen is her brother and a boy and has said that she needs a girl. My stomach growled the other day and she said to me, "That is my baby sister talking." It was so cute. She will randomly say that I have a baby sister for her and that I am going to have a girl.

Even with that cute face you aren't getting your wish...not right now at least :)
